Our son Phillip just graduated from CU Boulder which is where I graduated as well. My two daughters Rebekah and Kaitlyn both graduated from Denver South High School and now attending college at University of Arizona and Wittenberg University. Our family has lived in the Bonnie Brae neighborhood for over 25 years. We attend St. John's Lutheran Church. I enjoy playing basketball, golfing, gardening and fly fishing all of which are great activities in beautiful Colorado.

I am a Denver native and have been married to my husband TJ since 2006. We have two daughters. I enjoy camping, ATV riding, watching NASCAR, and traveling to tropical destinations. Anji Rizzo is a Sales Producer for Bonnie Brae Insurance. Anji has been with Bonnie Brae Insurance since 2013. She started in the claims department for Safeco Insurance in 2001 and moved to the independent agency side as a sales producer in 2003. With over 20 years of experience, Anji has an extensive knowledge of insurance and can assist you with all of your insurance needs.

John Schaefer

John Schaefer has been a licensed Insurance Agent since 1999. His first 10 years were spent working at a family insurance agency in Broomfield. This time taught John Account Management and the basics of Customer Service. Looking to expand his knowledge of Commercial Insurance, John accepted a new position as Brokerage Underwriter for a Nationwide Commercial Insurance Wholesaler. The primary responsibility for John was to find and place high risk commercial accounts that did not fit standard underwriting guidelines. After a few years John looking to build upon the new commercial insurance experience, took over as a Commercial Agency Manager in Montrose Colorado. While in Montrose John had the opportunity to drive all over the Mountains learning about and insuring all sorts of Colorado Owned Businesses. By this point John and his wife were raising 2 teenagers. They wanted to be closer to the “Big City”, so they moved back to Denver and John returned to high-risk insurance. However, this time, John’s focus was Special Event’s throughout the western states. Then in 2017 John was presented a chance to work for a local agency with a great reputation. The opportunity to work at Bonnie Brae Agency… In Cherry Creek Colorado was too much to pass up.

During Johns free time he can usually be found fishing at a local lake…. Or rooting on the Denver Nuggets & Broncos!

Karen Graham

I moved to Colorado from the Chicago area when I was 5 years old. I currently reside in Denver, but my hometown is Broomfield. I’ve been married to my husband John since 1993 and have 2 daughters. Most of my free time is spent watching both my daughters play collegiate and competitive volleyball. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, attending sporting events, playing Sudoku and traveling. Karen Graham began working in the insurance industry in 1984. She had many positions during her 18 years at Security Life/ING Group, which provided a solid base of insurance knowledge. Starting in the fall of 2012 Karen worked for an Allstate agent processing auto and home insurance. She has been with Jim and the Bonnie Brae Insurance Agency since early 2017. Karen’s expertise is sales, service and claims for all personal lines of business.
